I've finished Gothic 2 Night Raven twice, I've playing "the returning 2.0" mod which takes the Night Raven and adds x8 more content in every way you could think off. mod has problems here and there, some bugs to be aware of (everything can be fixed with a small guide that shows the 4-5 broken quests and how to fix them) but other than that it's like the ultimate Gothic experience.
Then, you can proceed with the new 2.5 archive installation. After installing Chronicles of Myrtana 2.5, prior to start a new game YOU HAVE TO: 1) Go in data/text and delete all the files named "txt.strings". They are 24 in total to delete, hence after their removal you must have 26 remaining files in the "text" folder.

Yeah because i doubt you would want to play gothic 1 or 2, after archolos, and find that the cost of the stats are affected by the order in which you take them. You would eat your hands discovering that you didn't have to eat the mushrooms, berries and apples right at the start of the game or that you would have to bring your stats to 29 in
