Zenlura, you are mostly right as in my previous playthrough, I had one gold side quest disappear when I was once told to kill a random leader (no spoilers don’t worry), but couldn’t do it as that particular island had changed to the other faction’s Onething I did was just walk around and stealth take out bases (2-3). I played this game when it came out and I am max level. Besides beating every side quest, beating all bosses, and taking out bases it was fun and easy afterwards. I like doing side missions, but after wondering how whoever is faring, it gets boring.
Theside quests do a lot to fleshl out Bayek and the other characters. I never found myself grinding to get to a high enough level to do story missions.
